Sorry for the delay in answering to the queries....i ll start with the answer to the question of how to hold a wheelie to a satisfactory length...to carry wheelie to decent lengths u need to find out something on ur bike known as the balancing point for a wheelie.....the balancing point for different bikes, diff. people and diff. positions of wheelies varies......finding the balancing point can be done only by doin a lot of wheelies....balancing point for a wheelie can be maintained only if u r good with brake balancing during wheelies....since u r new into wheelies getting balancing point and learning brake balance wheelies will take time.....but ur ultimate aim must be that itself....for starters we will try to do long wheelies just with throttle control....remember one thing....the more the height of the wheelie the more the length of the wheelie.....so try to pick up the bike and bring it to more heights than u used to but keep in mind the fact that if u go over the balancing point u ll flip and might have a nasty fall....we dont want that to happen.....so blip the throttle once u feel the bike is gettin into uncomfortable heights.....also keep one finger on the clutch and keep the right foot on the brake ready in case things goes out of hand.....always have a mental calculation of the height of the wheelie......and to know ur progress always keep some landmarks or some points to have a self assessment of the length of ur wheelie (like doin wheeliee between the lamp posts on the footpath--i used to do that)....the length of ur wheelies will not increase everytime u do a wheelie....it ll vary....but there will be some attempts where u will be able to hold a wheelie longer than u used to.....this attempt is the vital one.....once u get such a wheelie take a second to think of what all u did during that wheelie which was different from the other attempts and try to repeat the wheelie in that same manner....practice makes u perfect but only practicing the right things makes u perfect not the wrong ones...so once u come accross a good wheelie try to repeat all that u did in that wheelie.
The main points that are important for a throttle controlled long wheelie are....
1.Good knowledge of the throttle response of the bike 2.Maintaining the bike at a height where the bike carries u forward in a wheelie without coming down but still not flipping u backwards 3.Body weight transfer to the rear and to the front as required 4.Balancing the bike with ur body so that it wont sway to the sides too much and go out of control 5.Body Postioning on the bike for a wheelie like a.Elbows a little bend b.Body Perpendicular to the bike at all times c.Back bone completely upright d.Both feet must be firmly placed on the footrest with the right foot placed on top of the brake
Now all u need is PRACTICE....PRACTICE....PRACTICE....and a lot of PRACTICE.....
PS: Ideal position for learning wheelie is with a basic wheelie....

ok Josh.....first of all am happy that we started off with a good query.....before starting to learn rolling stoppies, be sure that u r really confident with baby stoppies....once u r ok with the baby stoppies u can move onto rolling ones....R15 is an excellent bike for rolling stoppies...but still u must select a track with a good and grippy surface....first attempt rolling stoppies with an approach speed of about 15-20 kmph preferably in the second gear....pull in the clutch just before u r gonna attempt the stoppie and then go for the stoppie.....things to be noted.....rolling stoppie is not about how much pressure u apply on the brake but how much pressure u apply on the front shocks and the front tyre.....the timing of ur brake application and ur weight transfer is what matters most....no need to jam in the brake completely like when u do a baby stoppie....apply the brake and at the same time transfer all ur body weight and pressure to the front of the bike....this can be done by locking the tank with both ur thighs and also keeping ur elbows straight.....the timing of ur brake application and body weight transfer should be perfect.....as the rear wheel comes up reduce the brake application little by little so that u can keep the bike moving on the front wheel and also avoid the bike from flipping...if u get the technique of rolling stoppie even for once, then it is a matter of days before u roll out a smooth stoppie extending to several feet.... if u have anymore doubts regarding this or anything just post it here....we are always ready and glad to help....do let us know once u are ok with the rolling stoppies and then we will give u tips on how to do longer rolling stoppies and how to do turning endos and all.....and pls pls use helmets and all kinds of proper stunting gear.....and also find a safe environment to practice all this.....am not giving these advices for publicity purposes....these are from the painful experiences in my life.....
